Would you like to fly in a real historic military aircraft?


The Highland Lakes Squadron offers three historic World War II aircraft for public flights.



The Douglas C-47 Skytrain is an airliner/transport. 

It is perfect for taking the extended family or business group (of up to 7) flying.

  1. $125 each person (minimum of four people), approximately 20 minutes

If you want to see what it is like in an open cockpit

  1. $150, approximately 20 minutes

  3. North American AT-6/SNJ Texan

For the most adventurous, this plane was used to train

fighter pilots during World War II.

In the CAF, Safety is our prime concern. Although built in the 1940s these aircraft are maintained and

certified to current Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) standards and crewed by FAA licensed and CAF

approved pilots. 75% of your airplane ride donation is tax deductible. Flights are restricted to persons

18 years or older.
