Folks, mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17 the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) will be giving free Young Eagles flights. Young Eagles is a program the EAA has where they give kids from 8 to 17 their first airplane ride for free.  These flights are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers. The flights will take place from 10:00 to 3:00 pm. So come on down and get your kids their first flight for free, while you're here you can see the historic old airplanes in the hangar of the Highland Lakes Squadron of the CAF and visit their wonderful museum. Don't miss out! 

Know a young adult interested in aviation and history? The Highland Lakes Squadron Cadet Program builds leadership skills and offers hands-on aircraft experience right here at Burnet Municipal Airport! Meetings are held every 4th Saturday at 10:00 AM.
